Not gonna lie about that. I loved being in the band. I was actually in the drum line and no not that cheese ball movie where the crappy playing beat the show boaty team at the end. I’m talking REAL drum line.

This is the 1992 Velvet Knights set. This made me love drumline more than anything on earth. Nothing can compare to this. With a trained ear, I can hear things that most won’t. I’ve listened to this set more than a thousand times. I can almost play the snare part in my sleep.
I have the whole thing on cassettte tape. Really, I could get up from my desk and grab it, that’s how important this set was to me. Band was magical. And yet I still turned out really cool in life. Well I think I’m cool. I’m cool right?
